Dr. David L. Lindow, DDS, graduated from the University of Michigan in 1976 and the University Of Detroit School Of Dentistry in 1980. David operated a successful fee-for-service clinic in the Ozark Mountains between 1980 and 1982, while serving in the National Health Service Corps. In 1982, David built a fee for service practice "from scratch" in a tiny rural town of just 1,200 residents in southwestern Michigan during the times of 20% interest rates and a mass exodus of businesses out of the state. It was so successful that he invited his brother, Dr. William Lindow, to join him in 1990. During that decade he also increased his knowledge by taking extensive postgraduate courses in oral surgery, orthodontics, periodontics, and TMJ and continues to strengthen his clinical education.

In 1990 David opened a second fee-for-service office. In 1992, he opened a third office in rural Central Michigan, where he consistently met annual production goals of over $1,500,000. It was during this period that David broadened his entrepreneurial education, realizing that multiple offices (or even a single office) need a standard operation manual, job descriptions and an entire office that had excellent communication skills - to be able to educate patients as well as improve case acceptance.

Eliminating stress for the doctor and staff while guiding patients on a "path of wellness" in a dental practice is one of his primary goals with each of our IDEC clients. David specializes in coaching dentists and staff to be able to create and implement a quality implant program; based on the new patient experience, as well as all the business protocols to make the business side of dentistry flow with the clinical aspect.

Dr. Lindow began his dental consulting career with a national consulting company in 1998, moved to St. Petersburg, Florida and then founded Lindow Leadership & Consulting in 2005. In 2007 David met Dr. Nilo Hernandez, and determined that their paths had crossed for a reason. David worked with him to fulfill Dr. Hernandez's dream of IDEC; to make available to doctors a truly special place to learn and improve their clinical skills, business skills as well as life skills. David is excited to be part of the IDEC team and feels that the possibilities are almost endless in how IDEC can effectively serve the Dental Community.
