This basic, start up dental implant training course is for the practitioner with none or limited dental implant training. It will take the participant from the very basics of anatomy through the more complex understanding of treatment planning and case design. The clinician will get a clear and crisp understanding of dental Implantology and all the benefits to both the patient and the practice. It will consist of 4 sessions of 3 days for each session. This course will provide a total of 80 hours of didactic and hands on work with clinical videos throughout the program.
By the end of the program, the student participant should be able to completely understand the related anatomical structures, their complications and modalities in the approach to surgery and prosthetic rehabilitations of implant procedures. In addition, the student will be able to comprehensively approach any case with a well thought out and comprehensive treatment plan for predictability and long term success of the patient.
The International Dental Education Continuums, Inc ( IDEC Seminars) is designated as an Approved PACE Program Provider by the Academy of General Dentistry. The formal continuing dental education programs of this program provider are accepted by the AGD for Fellowship, Mastership and membership maintenance credit. Approval does not imply acceptance by a state or provincial board of dentistry or AGD endorsement. The current term of approval extends from (2/1/2009) to (1/31/2013).
